Tritec Building Contractors had been awarded these works after successful tender and reassuring the client to the level of our competence, the awarded works consisted of refurbishing the exiting cladding and roof element of the building ensuring that we gave them a new lease of life, design and long term guarantees.

The existing roof coatings had come to the end of their serviceable lifecycle and had de-laminated exposing the steel to the roof sheets causing corrosion throughout the roof, our operatives prepared the area and then carried out a full roof coating system using Liquasil Metalseal 20 to completely encapsulate the steel sheets which in turn extended the lift cycle of the roof by a additional 20 year minimum, this is complete with a long term guarantee by the manufacturer.

We also installed new WeatherFold gutter liners into the guttering system as the existing metal box gutters where beyond repair with a liquid system.

The cladding was then prepared and sprayed with Giromax Girosil® Girocote in contrasting shades of grey complete with a 10 year manufacturers warranty and replaced the outer GRP skins of the roof lights for new as part of our roof replacement service.
